Corporation Tax done right — and quietly optimised
Your company tax return, prepared properly and filed on time — with every legitimate allowance claimed, so you never pay HMRC a penny more than you owe.
Corporation tax is the tax a UK limited company pays on its profits. Your company must file a CT600 return with HMRC and pay any tax due within nine months and one day of your year-end. We prepare, check and file it for you — claiming every relief you're entitled to.
One deadline, zero drama
Corporation tax has a habit of creeping up on busy directors. The return is fiddly, the rules shift most years, and the penalties for getting it wrong — or late — are entirely avoidable. Our job is to make the whole thing a non-event.
We take your year-end figures, prepare a fully compliant CT600, and cross-check it against every allowance, relief and deduction your company can legitimately claim — from capital allowances on equipment to R&D relief where it applies. Then we file it with HMRC and tell you exactly what to pay and when, well ahead of the deadline.
No jargon, no last-minute panic, and no nasty surprises when the bill lands. Just a tidy return, a clear number, and time to plan for it.

Sound familiar?
- You're not sure whether you're claiming everything you're allowed to.
- Last year's tax bill turned up as an unwelcome surprise.
- The CT600 form and iXBRL tagging feel like a foreign language.
- You've had a penalty — or a near miss — for a late filing.
- You want to pay a fair amount of tax, but not a pound more.
- Your accounts and tax return never seem to quite line up.
If any of that lands, corporation tax is exactly the weight we'll lift off your shoulders.

Key corporation tax deadlines
Your corporation tax is due 9 months and 1 day after your accounting period ends, and your CT600 return must be filed within 12 months of your year-end. Miss the filing date and HMRC issues automatic penalties. We keep you comfortably ahead of both.
Common questions about this service
For the 2025/26 year, companies with profits up to £50,000 pay the small profits rate of 19%, while profits above £250,000 are taxed at 25%. Profits between those figures are taxed at 25% with Marginal Relief, which effectively tapers the rate. We work out exactly which applies to your company.
For most companies, corporation tax is due nine months and one day after the end of your accounting period — so a 31 March year-end means payment by 1 January. Larger companies pay in quarterly instalments. We'll confirm your exact date and remind you in plenty of time.
We can make sure you never overpay. That means claiming every allowance and relief you're legitimately entitled to, timing purchases sensibly, and structuring things efficiently — all firmly within the rules. Honest, defensible tax planning, never anything that puts you at risk with HMRC.
HMRC charges an automatic £100 penalty the day after the deadline, with further penalties at three, six and twelve months, plus interest on unpaid tax. The good news: with us managing your dates, late filing simply doesn't happen.
